Women in Business Summit Marks 20 Years of Community & Connection

In September 2025, the Women in Business Summit returned to Springfield, MA for its 20th anniversary, bringing together professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders from across the region for two days of learning, networking, and reflection.
Held September 24–25 at the Marriott Springfield Downtown, the theme for this milestone year, Community & Connection, reflected what the Summit has always stood for: creating space for meaningful conversations, shared growth, and relationships that extend beyond the event itself.
The 2025 WIB Summit featured a dynamic mix of programming tailored to meet attendees wherever they were in their journey, whether launching a business, navigating leadership, or simply seeking to recharge and reconnect.
Here’s a snapshot of what took place:
- 15 speakers shared insights across industries and experiences
- A panel on the Future of Work spotlighted voices shaping what’s next
- 9 workshops were offered across three tracks: Leadership Development, Entrepreneurship, and Wellness
- An inspired keynote presentation
- An exhibit that showcased resources, job opportunities, and local vendors
- A Wellness Lounge provided express services like massages and manicures, as well as a photo station
The environment was intentionally inclusive and welcoming. Attendees came from all walks of life, and the programming reflected that diversity.
About the Women in Business Summit
Founded in 2005 by Kisha Zullo, the Women in Business Summit was created to offer something many professionals were missing: a space outside the workplace to learn, connect, and grow. Kisha, a seasoned event professional and entrepreneur, built the Summit around values she learned early: integrity, discipline, and kindness.
Over the years, the Summit became a trusted space for women to explore entrepreneurship, leadership, personal development, and financial management. It also became a place where people found their next mentor, collaborator, or friend.
