GSB and UMass: Committed to Campus and Community

At its heart, the town of Amherst is built on education, connection, and community care, and in that spirit, we're honored to deepen our roots through our new partnership with UMass Athletics.

Our brand-new relationship, which also includes Learfield’s UMass Sports Properties, underscores our bank’s focus in supporting what’s known as the Commonwealth’s Flagship Campus. UMass Amherst and our GSB Amherst branch have been next-door neighbors for many years. The Amherst branch is perfectly located by the southern entrance to the UMass Campus at 6 University Drive and serves many UMass employees as customers, along with students and alumni.

GSB understands that UMass Amherst is more than a university. It's a place where students discover their potential, where faculty and staff help shape future generations and where community members come together to celebrate shared traditions and achievements. We're proud to support an institution that plays such an important role in the life of Amherst and throughout western Mass.

This partnership goes beyond athletics. We’re committed to investing in the people who make this community special; the students preparing for their futures and the educators, administrators, and staff who help them succeed every day.

GSB invests more than $1 million each year in nonprofit organizations, community programs, the arts, and local sponsorships, like ours with UMass Athletics. We are excited to build meaningful relationships, support local initiatives, and be an active participant in the communities we serve.

As we cheer on the Minutemen and Minutewomen, we're equally excited about the opportunity to connect with and give back to the greater Amherst community. Together, we look forward to creating a lasting impact and celebrating all that makes the UMass Amherst campus such a remarkable place to live, learn, work, and grow.
