Arrive@5 Brings Compounding Connections

From crab cakes to great conversations, our October 8th Arrive@5 at the Northampton branch was anything but our typical banking event. Our incredible staff imbued energy into every detail. Scroll through this photo blog to see how we transformed a regular Wednesday evening into a truly memorable event.

Arrive@5 was made possible through the fantastic partnership between Greenfield Savings Bank and the Northampton Chamber of Commerce. Together, we welcomed local professionals for an evening of networking and great conversation, proving once again that great things happen when community and collaboration come together.

Food and cocktails were provided by HighBrow Wood Fired Kitchen and Bar.

Kevin, VP of Retail, is our unofficial curator of cocktails, which were provided by HighBrow.

Shoutout to our amazing Northampton branch team for orchestrating the entire event from start to finish! Every team member played a part. Some took on serving duties, others kept an eye on the trash bins to ensure everything stayed tidy, and a few were our designated minglers, making sure guests felt welcomed and had a great time.

Behind every great party is a VP with a camera.

We don’t just balance books. We balance trays too!! Brie-Ann, a Northampton teller, offered crab cakes to our guests.

CIO + COO = Return on Conversation. Panna (CIO) and Shandra (COO) were spotted mid-chat—likely exchanging insights, possibly cracking jokes, definitely keeping operations and innovation in perfect balance.

This is a great snapshot of what community looks like!

It wouldn’t be a party without a few words, and these came straight from the heart. From heartfelt thank-yous to lighthearted laughs, the moments that were shared at the mic (which didn’t work) reminded us why community and connection are at the core of everything we do.

Vince Jackson, Executive Director of the Northampton Chamber of Commerce, took a few minutes to talk about the importance of making connections and building relationships within the community.

Then our president and CEO, Tom Meshako, spoke about how thrilled he was to see his team and the community enjoying themselves at this Arrive@5.

Tom then introduced our guest non-profit, the Northampton Community Music Center, and their executive director, Jason Trotta, who talked about how important music was to making connections.

We gave a big round of applause to Andrew Brow, owner of HighBrow, for catering the event with the kind of precision and flair that would make any teller proud. From savory bites to sweet finishes, he and his team delivered a spread that was well above interest rate expectations.

Thanks to our Northampton team, this Arrive@5 event was a perfect reflection of the spirit that drives our community. Whether serving crab cakes or snapping candid photos, every moment captured shows just how much energy our team brings, on and off the clock.
