GSB + Festival of the Hills = One Fun Sunday

Conway’s Festival of the Hills is known for its craft fair, art show, a challenging 10K road race, log splitting, skillet tossing, and so much more. This year, Greenfield Savings Bank was thrilled to be part of the action with a tent in the children’s area—and let’s just say, the kids brought the energy!

 

We set up shop with a prize wheel and our brand-new GSB Plinko game, and the kids were gleeful. Pure excitement. The best part? Our games were totally free. No tickets required. Just walk up, spin, drop, and win.

Our giveaways were a hit too. Kids couldn’t get enough of our squishy stress ball bees, colorful branded clay, Wikki Stix, and colored pencils. And for the future financial whizzes, we handed out cardboard piggy banks they could assemble themselves. But these weren’t just cute crafts. They came with a fun promotion.

 

Here’s the deal: if a child fills up their GSB piggy bank and brings it to any GSB branch to open a youth savings account, we’ll match their savings up to $50. It’s a simple, fun way to help kids learn the value of saving and start building smart money habits early.

The offer runs through December 31, 2025, and is available for kids under 18. All it takes is a minimum deposit of $10 to open the account, and if they start with $50, we’ll match it right then and there. That’s a pretty sweet deal for a young saver.

 

GSB Loves Festival of the Hills!

Beyond the games and giveaways, we were honored to be part of an event that does so much good for the community. Since 2000, the Festival of the Hills has raised over $155,000 in scholarship aid for Conway high school seniors. It’s run entirely by volunteers, and it’s a fantastic example of what happens when a town comes together.

 

From the log-splitting contests to the classic New England parade, the Festival is packed with community spirit. We’re proud to support it and even prouder to help the next generation start their financial journey with confidence.
