Where

Greenfield Savings Bank - 61 N. Main Street, South Deerfield

Details

"I love old metal. When I retired from my work as a professor and therapist, I was able to give more time and space to explore my creative side. When I see a piece of old metal with a shape and texture that pleases my eye, my mind often sees more than what is in front of me. Sheep shears become a person. A harrow blade turns into the wings of a dragonfly. A horse bit forms ears of a cow, and a scythe blade is obviously a heron. Clearly, peavies make lovely swans. That’s how my mind’s eye works – a little whimsy, a different perspective and hopefully always a visually intriguing and beautiful." - Phyllis Jeswald
