BROWSER INFORMATION
Your browser must be 128-bit encryption capable
to access our Internet Banking System.
Internet Explorer Users:
To verify that MicroSoft® Internet Explorer is 128-bit capable,
follow these simple steps:
1. Open your MicroSoft® Internet Explorer Browser
2. Click on Help
3. Click on About Internet Explorer
4. Look for the indication that the Cipher Strength is 128-bit.
If you are currently using MicroSoft® Internet Explorer for
your internet browser, please be sure that you are using
at least version 5.1 Service Pack 2 (SP2).*
To upgrade your browser to a more recent version, please go to
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/.
Netscape Users:
To verify that Netscape® is 128-bit capable, follow these simple steps:
1. Open your Netscape® Browser
2. Click on the Security Button (with padlock icon)
3. Click on Navigator
4. For PCs click on “Configure SSL v2" or for MAC users
click on “Configure SSL v3"
5. Verify that “RC4 encryption with a 128-bit key” is enabled.
If you are currently using Netscape® Communicator for your internet
browser, please be sure that you are using version 4.72 or higher*.
To upgrade your browser to a more recent version, please go to
http://home.netscape.com/download/.
We recommend you upgrade to Netscape® Communicator 4.77.
This browser has the necessary encryption built in.

Using internet banking is as simple as a few clicks:

You’ll need to enter your user identification number and password.
If you are a new Internet Banking customer, please change your
temporary User ID and password within 72 hours of activation.
General Information
1. Transfers after 8 P.M. are processed at 8:30 A.M.
the following business day.
2. Transfers can be made to or from your NOW, checking
or statement savings account.
3. GSB mortgage payments are easy to make using funds
transfer from the accounts listed above.
4. Inquiries are available on CDs and IRAs. Inquiries
and deposits are available on Passbook Savings and
Christmas Clubs.
5. Research your account(s) history by date range.
Transactions are updated nightly.
6. Download your account history into personal financial
programs.
7. Nickname accounts for easy recognition. Click Options,
then Change Nicknames.
8. You can order new checks, change your
address or request a copy of a check. Just click the
Do-It-Yourself button and choose the
appropriate option.
User IDs for Internet Banking Customers
The first time you login the system will automatically ask you
to select a New User ID. This new User ID may be 6 to 20 characters in
length, must contain at least 1 letter, and is not case sensitive. You
are only required to change your User ID once. However, you may change
it at any time using the option provided within the Internet Banking
system.
Password Guidelines
In addition to changing your User ID, you must also change your password.
Your password must be at least four characters in length and may be a
combination of letters and/or numbers. After the initial password change
you will be required to change your password every 90 days. The system
will automatically prompt you to change your password when your current
password expires. You may also change your password at any time by using
the option provided within the Internet Banking system.
We suggest you create a password using the following DOs and DON'Ts :
Password DOs
DO use a password with mixed-case letters.
DO use a password with non-alphabetic characters.
DO use a password that is easy to remember.
Password DON'Ts
DON'T use any form of your User ID in your password.
DON'T use any form of your first, middle, or last name.
DON'T use any form of family member names.
DON'T use information that is easily obtained about you.
DON'T use words found in a dictionary.
An example of a good password using these guidelines might be : pa$$w0rd4U

BILL PAYMENT
General Information
1. Please plan ahead for all bill payments,
especially the first time.
2. The payment will be sent to the payee, electronically or by check,
the day after you submit your request. The funds will be withdrawn
from your account within 3 business days after you submit your request.
Electronic payments are guaranteed for 3 business day delivery. Check
payments are guaranteed for 5 business day delivery. To determine
whether your payments are electronic or by check, view your Payee List.
3. When you submit an online bill payment request, your
payment becomes a Pending Payment until 11 p.m.
at which point it is processed. You may cancel or change the
payment up until the 11 p.m. processing time.
Creating Your Payee List
Click Add Payee in the left frame menu.
Enter the Name, Address, Phone Number,
Account Number with the payee then click Add Payee.
Verify the information and, if correct, click Submit.
For
easy recognition, Payees can be nicknamed. Just click Payee
List.
Congratulations
! You've just created your first payee. Repeat this
process to add other payees.
Making
a Payment
After you have entered your payees you are ready to
make payments online. To submit a one time payment
simply click Make a Payment, select the correct
payee from the payee menu, enter the payment amount, and
click Submit. Review and confirm your payment request.
You will then receive a confirmation number which should
be recorded in your checkbook register.
QuickPay
allows you to pay numerous bills at one time. You will
receive separate confirmation numbers for each bill
paid.

STATEMENT DOWNLOAD & IMPORT
FOR QUICKEN® AND MICROSOFT® MONEY
Your Greenfield Savings Bank transactions can easily be downloaded and
transferred into your Personal Financial Management (PFM) software. Just
follow these simple steps :
First log into our Internet Banking service.
Once you are logged on, follow these next steps...
1. Click on Account Statement on the left side of the page.
2. Select the account for which you want the statement.
3. Enter dates for the statement time frame.
Date range must fall within the current and previous months.
4. Click on Display Statement.
5. When the statement is displayed, you will find at the bottom
of the page the option to download your statement.
Be sure to select "Quicken Format."
6. Click on Download Data.
7. Save the file to your computer.
8. Open Quicken or MicroSoft Money.
9. Click on File and select Import from the menu.
10. Select the file you downloaded and click OK.
Please Note:
If your statement spans several pages, you will need to download
each page individually.
